Campus Chapters

This program offers the best students of supporting institutions all the benefits and recognition of membership in Pi Lambda Theta. Chapters are formally organized with elected officers supported by a faculty adviser, and chapter delegates enjoy the right to vote in the governance of Pi Lambda Theta. Chapters typically undertake a wide range of professional and academic programs and activities and these are available to all chapter members, whether undergraduates, graduates or post-graduate professionals. (Chapters dues vary. Please contact the international office for these amounts.)

Direct Honors

This program allows institutions to offer the benefits and recognition of Pi Lambda Theta membership to their best students with a minimum of effort. The Dean's Office of the School of Education certifies student eligibility. Members who join Pi Lambda Theta under the Direct Honors Program join as members at large. The program is administered entirely by the international office of Pi Lambda Theta.

Professional Chapters

This program is designed for qualifying undergraduate and post-graduate professionals. Professional chapters are not affiliated with any institutions. Chapters are formally organized with elected officers, and chapter delegates enjoy the right to vote in the governance of Pi Lambda Theta. Chapters typically undertake a wide range of programs and activities, often in conjunction with nearby campus chapters and neighboring professional chapters.

Member at Large

This program is designed for qualifying students and post-graduate professionals who wish to maintain membership in Pi Lambda Theta but who are not affiliated with a campus or professional chapter. The program is administered by the international office of Pi Lambda Theta.
