Endowment

Purpose and History

The purpose of the endowment is to provide financial support for study, research, and service in education and for the projects, programs, and activities of Pi Lambda Theta. For almost a century, Pi Lambda Theta, the most selective national professional honor society of educators, has fostered scholastic achievement among students and professionals. Its history has created a legacy of leadership and a commitment to academic excellence. In keeping with its mission to advance scholarship and professional growth, Pi Lambda Theta created the Educational Trust in 1981. In 1995 the trust was separately incorporated as the Pi Lambda Theta Educational Endowment.
