TEAL
The Educator As Leader

Overview Workshop Leader's Guide Forum and Knowledge Base

In TEAL workshops participants take on a challenge and then are trained to draft, assess, and refine effective personal action commitments (PACs) for providing local leadership in addressing the challenge. At the workshop each participant is paired with a partner to provide mutual support during post-workshop implementation of their PACs. PACs don't just stay with the participants. They are entered into PLT's discussion forum and knowledge base where others can comment, question, and learn from them. Participants may be invited to speak about their experiences at regional and national conferences.

A chapter, any other group, or even an individual member can organize a TEAL workshop. Our workshop leader's guide is comprehensive and easy to follow. Direct costs are nominal. PLT’s international office and board of directors will provide consultation and support for e-mail invitations and Web documentation.
