It’s
not just any half-day tour:
IT’S WHERE AMERICA BEGAN!
JAMESTOWN-WILLIAMSBURG TOUR
Sunday, July 29, 2007, 12:30-10:00
PM
Cost $99.00 (includes dinner)
Our Virginia Area Chapter members want you to experience their state
to the fullest, so they arranged for this sampler tour of the first
permanent English settlement in America.
Be warned! You will have enough history within walking distance to
fill several days of happy exploration. This tour is called a
sampler tour because it allows you to see what is available and
stroll through it. However, no half-day tour can make possible more
than an overview of the area and some preliminary exploration and
shopping. To get an idea of the incredibly rich array of things to
see, do, explore, and experience, go to the Jamestown and
Williamsburg websites below. You may decide to stay in Richmond
another day or two so you can make in-depth explorations of what you
“sampled” on the tour.
Your tour price includes the motorcoach, dinner, and one guided
tour. You will have plenty of time to explore both Jamestown and
Williamsburg on your own. Some exhibits and activities charge
admission fees, which are not included in the tour price.
